28 years of doing this and i'm going to try that meditation first. When i first saw the job I put my hands behind myself and had a good scratch!
Thanks for the web site I have down loaded and printed the manual and wiring diagram.
Always a big help on the Wall
Merry Christmas
going to hug the 3 Grand Kids again tonight for dinner .
this boiler will have to wait till hugs are over. Hugs are a better form of meditation.

Why do people think they can hire any one to work on heating??
A local company tried to repair an intermitent problem and ended up leaving all and i mean All wiring disconnected from every part of the boiler.
Any words of wisdom for me I know where to start from scratch!!
the original problem was firing then flame out with no aparent reason.
Any fixes out there would be appreciated. This wall is GREAT

that is a way tall order to fill .....
i used to practise Karate in a blacked out room with a blind fold using only the hearing and sences of air movement ,heat ,and the knowledge of the sounds of various movement ... and i honestly got to say the variables were fewer
lets see
1 make your mind a clear, crystal clear pool of water.
(Weezbo for Turn the electricity off!)
2 Do not let your mind wander....
(put the wrench Down)
3 put your leftt hand over your right hand 2 " below your navel about two inches away from your body....
(Block out the B.S. )
4 close your eyes and concentrate on a point between your eyes
(Try to remember where you hid the telephone book last)
5 Wake UP! Meditations OVER! Kebadachi!
get to the phone and call a qualified Boiler tech.

Wiring Problem...
Actually, I prefer to start from scratch when someone's been messing with the wires. Just take the wiring diagram on the service panel and begin at the transformer on one side and go point to point. Most good diagrams have the wire color coded or numbered. If the original problem still exists then give us more info on the type of boiler and fuel and we'll go from there. Merry Christmas! have patience and no egg nog 'til the job is done. Best Regards0 -
dissconnected wires
Weil Mclain does a great job with wire diagrams both on the back cover of the front panle and with labels and color codes. Once you connect the obvious the rest seams to fall into place.
If the boiler is newer it has an integrated controller so some stuff will just plug in then when all is done watch the sequence codes on start up.

Best Bet
I would suggest someone familiar with the equipment do the repair's to this system. But it never hurt's to know what your looking at when they get there so READ!!

As an added note, make sure all safeties are tested after the repair is made to verify something wasn't jumped out. You can never be to safe!!0
