I am so confused on using this balancing chart! This is as far as I got, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Garage manifold: 14,784 BTU's @ 2.96 gpm

Radiant tubing Lenght (1/2" Multi core) 195' / 170' / 130'

Headloss per loop 5.7 / 5 / 3.8

Adjustment for equal flow 0 / /

    TruFLOW Balancing

    Jamie-

    When using the TruFlow, you are balancing against head from loop to loop, which in turn is balancing by the heatloss. Loop length is a non-factor when using TruFlow. That's what makes using the TruFlow a better system manifold.

    First, you compare the head from one loop to the other. The one with the highest head is full open. All others are compared to that one (in your case is just so happens to be the longest loop).

    Second, Now take the loop you want to balance and compare the difference in head (ex. 5.7 - 3.8 = 1.9 foh)

    Third, using 1.9 foh difference and a flow of .98gpm per loop (2.96gpm/3loops), where these two intersect to the closest diaganol line on the chart will tell how many turns to open it from the closed position;

    = (< 1.5 FULL TURNS FROM CLOSED >)
