Biggest radiant install??

Has anyone here installed radiant infloor in a really large building? I'm talking in excess of 400,000 sq ft! If you have, I'd like to talk with you at your convenience. Thanks, "the Grump"

    Hell Yeah

that's like only two AstroDomes combined, I do 'em all the time:O) Just kidding, Grump.

Haven't done one in my life, unless my doghouse counts:)

380 watts, 115btu/sq/ft, but it DOES have outdoor reset :) A little overkill don't you think ?

Good luck, Grump. I'm sure you'll get some responses a little less frivolous than mine.

    Brian in Zero radiantland.

EDIT: The kennel is upside down, that's the floor showing. I covered the waterbed heater with 2" thick, foil-backed insulation (very dense f/glass sort o stuff) then screwed on 1/2" plywood. Hey, I might be a sparky, but I HAVE learned some stuff here.

Now it serves as a work bench too, smart stuff eh?

    Later guys.

    Brian.

    Biggest Radiant installs

I've designed five (and did construction admin. on all of them, now built and operating) in the last five years with the smallest at 40,000 SF and the largest at 250,000 SF, and I'm helping out on one that will be over 600,000 SF that's in design stage. Nothing to them. The whole design is in the envelope to eliminate the perimeter zones and the need for response to variable thermal loads. Slab systems = steady state sensible temperature control, and use the ventilation air supply for short term thermal transient loads. What's up?

    See Grump, like Geoff said

nothing to it. Just like building a bigger doghouse :)

Only $395.99 + S&H. Unless you're supplying the BBQ & beer, then I'll deliver free.

    Later, Brian.

I have alot of inustrial experience up to 300,000,000 btu hand I would be willing to give you any advise I can. Shoot me an email...
