i have a buderus g115 with the 2107 out door reset my boiler runs sometimes for nothing trying to keep the boiler hot in case i need it.
to me i have used more oil this year then i did last year with the cold start 2109 control.
do you guys think i should get the bfu room sensor and run constant circulation this way here when the boiler dose run at least I'm getting something out of it?
keeping the boiler warm in case i need it makes as much sense as leaving my car running.
buderus says you can see up to 40% less burner start. well i see 40% more
Even on days when i heat with wood my boiler would run a few times. talk about a waste of energy i hope the bfu on constant circulation will fix my problem.
my house is very well insulated
also my baseboards are designed to run at 170 on a -8deg day
Even when it's 29 out my boiler will run to 190 cant i run a lower water temp to safe money. i see people at 10deg run 150deg

?
I would suggest you call Buderus. You sound very confused about the way your heating system operates and the function of the controls.0 -
hi John
i changed my ref temp from 165 to 143.
my baseboards are designed for 170 on a -8 deg day so according to the buderus chart that's about right now i may get long calls for heat and it may also simulate constant circulation.
tomorrow i will go to the supply house and get the bfu room sensor also
thank you0 -

thanks bill see ott ;-) also i sent you a email0 -
wow what a difference after changing my ref temp down to 143 instead of 167 my boiler runs half as much before the boiler would run twice a hour for ten minutes each time
now it runs 5 minutes each time well 4 1/2 :-)
pumps run longer and the differential is wider the pumps will run for 25 minutes before starting the boiler for another 4 1/2 minutes so I'm happy
i will buy the bfu room sensor tomorrow from my supply house. but it feels good to know things are working better :-) thank you bill
