Your note about Chris got me thinking. Not only should we pray for all of our brave people in Iraq, but also say a prayer for the Iraqi people, who face life and death every day and want to enjoy the freedoms that U.S. citizens enjoy every day. I sometimes tend to forget about the people we are helping to free from terrorism.

I hope all of you, and your families have a safe, blessed Christmas.

Please think, and pray for those who cannot be home for the holidays because they are protecting us. Of course this includes all brave men and women in the armed forces here, in the middle east, and anywhere else on the globe, these are tough times to be away from loved ones.

Let us also remember to pray for loved ones spending the holidays in hospitals....

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cause it don't much matter to me which one fits your needs so long as the spirit of good will and peace gets passed along.

Odd 24 hours of emotions: my sister-in-law's twin sister was burried yesterday and an e-mail from Chris a few minutes ago wishing us all Merry Christmas included a cryptic note that he will be out of touch for a few days - no doubt a mission or patrol is in progress for his group in Baghdad.

Solice for the soul to have a spot like this to engage the grey matter and read through messages.
