Clean the system with our Hydro-Solv 9100 and then treat it with our Pro-Tek 922. The treatment product contains an oxygen scavenger as one of its ingredients.

You can contact us at 800-543-5975.

Ask for George or Dwight.

Hope this helps.

Poly Butalene pipe and CI boiler

There was an inhibitor solution for these systems a few years ago. Is there still aproduct to counteract the oxygen. Or what needs to be done? This is a 12 year old system and is still OK but what is happeing inside? The pink solution that was being used seams not to be available now. George, and thanks for your input...

    With a PB

system you will need to check and boost the O2 inhibitor. the higher the temperature the system operates the more O2 ingress.

Ususlly the thin metal components fail first. High temperature PB systems will eat expansion tanks first.
