direct vent question

What is the code for distance a direct vent termination can be from an outdoor pool heater both gas fired.Height and length.Thanks for any help

    Only thing I can find...

    "Clearance to each side of the center line extended above or below vent termination of furnace to: a dryer, water heater vent, or other appliances direct vent intake or exhaust is 12". Doesen't say anything about stand alone appliances such as pool heaters.

    It would be a mistake not to read the installation manual of the direct vent appliance you are trying to vent.

    As far as I know you would have to consider that the pool heater has a fresh air intake and you would have to be at least 4' away

    Also keep in mind that the exhaust from the DV appliance may have ugly effects on the pool heater's appearance, and eventually structurally.

    &Iguess my concern is the cross contamination from the pool heater to the boiler.The pool heater is two feet below the dv outlet
