Not a wet heat ques, but have an "architect" who spec'd Magic Pac units for a bunch of urban gut rehab jobs. i have found limited info on these, but does anyone know of a comparable system to these? We talked her into conventional furnaces in the beginning stage of the project, but she is unhappy with the sizes of the ducting, as she is not willing to give us places to run ducts. i guess we are supposed to use that new invisible stuff that they sell! Boilers are not an option as she wants the ac option and there is limited federal funds.

ya know....
I hate to say it but one thing I do admire about magic pak is that they are about the only manufacturer to keep the physical dimensions of the units the same. To installers this may mean nothing but if you need to change one out, it is a welcome sight knowing it should bolt right into place. Not the most service friendly but all in all not to bad. The heat exchangers aren't the best. Make sure you use a canvas connector on the supply plenum or yyou'll be sorry.0
