Why are you thinking of messing with them?

gas burner differential
Our gas boiler has 2 stage burner with operating control set at 180 and high fire control set at 160.
Behind each of these knobs is an sdjustable differential that allows adjustment of the +/- differential for each burner.
Currently, both are set at 11 degrees. What would be a good setting for these?
We have hydroair fan coils as our emitters.
Thanks.

I just want to have it so my system
is most efficient with our new buffer tank (we have a copper tube boiler). I seem to remember that the original installer of the boiler messed with them when we were having shortcycling.
Now we have a buffer tank (80 gal). I called the boiler manufacturer, and their answer was "depends on what you want to do".0 -
Seems it would be best to continue your conversation with the manufacturer telling them what it is you're trying to do. The manufacturer must have had something in mind when they selected that valve for that piece of equipment.0
