    Use wick & dope for water.Except stand pipes.

    new ways

    i am from the old school & love working with pipe but threaded pipe over 2" is fast becoming a thing of the past. welded & victolic is the way to go. far less headaches and risk. get a bad fitting or leak on a 4 " joint can cost you labor that can't be recovered. can make a marginal job a loser.
