Which Nut is Packing Nut
Hello,
I've got what I believe is a leak from a lack of packing.
Please see this drawing I did(http://www.heliumdesign.com/radiatorleak.jpg).
Do I need to unscrew the screw that holds the valve cap on,
unscrew the nut that holds the valve stem assembly in place, and put the
packing in that area, then put it back together?0 -
IT'S
The guy in the warehouse! (Just kidding.) It's the "nut" you've identified at the leak's source. Tighten it slightly & that should resolve the issue.

Thanks!
And if the tightening doesn't help, does the packing go inside wherever is below that nut?0
