Strange Vibrations...

Pressure is set really low (or apparently as low as it should be) something like 0.75...

Hoping someone believes me because it never happens when the repairman comes...
After about 45mins to 1 hour of my heating cycle (steam one pipe system Weil-Mcclain 1987'ish) something in my boiler makes a "whoosh" type sound and then a huge vibration goes through the main exhause vent into the chimmney. The vibration starts up immediately, lasts a good 1-2 mins and then tapers off - it sounds like a large industrial fan kicking in. My bedroom is directly on top of basement and the vibration is loud enough to be felt through the floor...
What's strange is that I get the same vibrating sound (but much quieter) when my central a/c is on in the summer...
I have had my system overhauled in last 2 months - radiators pitched, boiler drained/cleaned etc. I spoke to the old owner of the house who said that this never happened last heating season (not type of guy to b/s me)
Anyone got any idea what's going on??0 -
Relief Valve?
Could it be the relief valve dumping excessive pressure?0
