I dont know your system but the circulator isnt generally pressure operated. If you want it to run you will have to jump it.

How do I bleed baseboard hot water zone
I can hear water flow through my baseboard and sounds like there is air. I have a circulator pump with a shut-off beneath it and a shut-off above it. The shut-off above has a spout where I think I should attach a hose and let the water drain to a bucket until there is no air. Do I need to turn the shut-off below the circulator? When I did this the water pressure was high at first and then dwindled to a little more than a trickle. Am I doing this right? Shouldn't the pressure valve engage and give a steady stream of water?0
