Sizing cast iron convectors in the basement ductwork

Dan, I am sizing for a new steam boiler here in Philly, and I cannot find any sizing guides for what I call cast iron convectors. They look like cast iron boiler blocks inside of ductwork, feeding by gravity to the first floor. At first I thought to just size them as close as I could, with normal radiator sizing guides. But, I was thinking, since copper convectors increase in output, just by increasing the height of their cabinet, I might need to assume the same with these. I checked in my copies of The Lost Art and the Lost Art Companion and cant find any help. I would hate to undersize this boiler. I would appreciate any guidance you might have. Thanks, Chris
