Boiler won't shut off

Help !!!!!!! Steam Boiler won't shut off... I can only use the emer. switch for shut down... temp 95 and rising... Help

Possibly something
is shorted in the thermostat circuit. Locate the wire from the thermostat and disconnect them then turn the switch back on does it stop? If so and the thermostat is level (if it a mercury bulb one)and not out of calibration the wires may be shorted.
If not then there is a short somewhere in the control circuit at the boiler. Disconnect one control at a time to possibly eliminate.
If you can get one tonight call a professional if that does not get it done.0
