I am curious if anyone else has experienced this.
We had a brass cast manifold end cap that completely blew off the manifold. The threads were still intact and remained on the manifold body but a perfectly round 1-5/8" disc (center of end cap) shot across the room allowing the system to drain.
Does the end cap act as a freeze plug or pressure release point?
Thanks in advance!
