Too much pressure
I have an oil fired steam system that hits the 1.5lb cut out in about an hour when fired cold. Then it will shut down for about 3-4 min. until it hits cut in pressure (.5lbs) then it will fire for about 8 min. hit 1.5lbs and repeat until the thermostat temp is reached. About 1/3 of my footage of radiators are shut off due to leeks or supplimental heat from wood stove. will using a smaller nozzel help lower the preassure or is the only answer to make all the radiators work.0
