Update Old Mech. Controls to Electronic Control

I have a three-family house in New Haven CT. Two of the oil-fired boilers likely date back to the 50's. Using a Beckett burner. I'd like to convert the boiler to use electronic controls and I'd like to add and add. low-water cut-off and electronc auto-fill. My experience with boilers is limited but, I have changed out failed bits along the way and dialed them in fairly well interms of stochiometric efficiency. Please, any advise/suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,
Matthew
