is not a lot..maybe 1.5 gal/min. Rinnai would work if gas were an option...venting is the issue here...roof is 25" high and in the middle of a LARGE room....electric is my only viable option. I looked at the electric tankless htrs but they don't say how high they can go w/ temp.....kpc

I have a client...
that has a 40 gas water heater to heat water for a parts washer...it has worked ok for now but he needs to boost the water tem to 170F....water heater only goes to 150F...Is there a booster (pref. electric) to install after the water heater to give 20gals too meet his 20gal or so needs? ty, kpc

I'd recommend a Rinnai 2532FFUC
One question? What is his flow rate requirement? I'd run the tank at about 140 and let the Rinnai pick up the last 40F. Another point, be aware that as your output temp rises so to does the amount of precipitant that will come out of the water. Check your water quality first. If it has good water, it will walk away with this load.0 -
