Air Vent Filling With Water?

Hi all -
I have one radiator that spits a little, then calms down and works like it is supposed to. For ONE cycle... the next time the boiler kicks on, the air vent retains water and the air can't get out of the radiator so it stays cold. Doesn't make sense to me, if I unscrew the vent and "pour" the water out, the radiator will heat up just fine. Since I don't want to be manually venting this radiator all winter, hopeing some of you had thoughts. This particular vent is a Maid O Mist #C and yes, the radiator is pitched properly.
Thanks for any thoughts.
cheers

Vents
Better units like Hoffmann sport a tongue that drains condensate from the vent...0
