Try channel lock plyers, but don't really reef on it. You can try penetrating oil if you are worried, but it should come. If it's old, just like grandma:) you know sometimes it takes A-Little more persuation, but be gentle....If that makes any sense...

    Removing vents

    In a one pipe steam system, what is the best way to remove the vents that will not turn with just hand pressure, And if they break at the stem, then what?
