Grundfos w/ push terminals

This problem is on new style pumps,6 months old,, new wire,, new installation,, etc.. luckly there is anti-'freeze in the system,, it's been about 3* here the last few nights..

    Grundfos w/ push terminals

    Has anyone had any trouble w/ Grundfos circs w/ push terminals,,, No heat call- power to the circ but the wire waasn't making contact in the terminal even though it was tight,, re did wire and connection,,, same problem 5 days later,,,

    .......we do.I under stand they did away with that set up.

    I had the same problem. Grundos had this same set up years ago but did away with it. Now it is back with their new pumps.

    We started using SJO cord to wire our pumps a while back. Never had an issue but I HATED using solid wire on the ANYTHING from Europe. Guess they do not use it there.

    Maybe give multi-strand wire in the furure on the pumps? Doesn't help you now but may solve future issues.
