    Two pros have already troubleshooted the system and still no heat from a radiator. Pitch is good, new varivalves all ove the house and the rads further down the line heat up fine.

    At this point, the only answer sediment build-up. I assume it is in the rad because the master valve is hot. Could it be anything else?

    By master valve I think you mean the radiator inlet valve? Did they take it apart? I've seen snapped stems on the valve that keep the seat in place even though the valve seems open. I've seen the washer fall off the stem and blocke the steam. Check that first then pull the rad if not the problem.
