Upstairs no heat from radiator, all other floors okay?

Can anyone help?
My bedroom upstairs(3 level house)has no heat coming from the radiator, I've bled it and only air comes through. All other radiators work in the house. At night I can hear water dripping in pipes possibly connected to this rad? There is absolutely no heat or water getting through to this rad.
Please can anyone help?
thanks,
Andre

Keep bleeding until you either get water or the air stops. If the air stops before you get water, the system pressure is insufficient to lift the water to the top. completely. With the boiler OFF, add water SLOWLY while bleeding the rad. Continue until you get nothing but water from the rad. Then bleed all other rads in the house similarly.
If you have an "auto fill" device, it could be improperly adjusted or defective. The body of the auto fill looks roughly like a big bullet and there will be a thumbscrew on top. Turn 1/2 turn or so counter-clockwise and you should hear water slowly entering the system. (Of course make sure that any valves before or after the auto fill are open.) If you still don't hear water, turn another 1/2 turn or so. If still nothing, it's likely defective or wildly mis-adjusted.
Your system pressure gauge should read 12#-14#.0 -
Thanks for the help, I believe it is the auto fill device thats the problem.
How much would and auto fill device primarily cost? Is it easy to replace?
I was quoted between $250-350 for replacement and installation by a technician.

Sorry, but we really don't discuss price here. Does not though sound unreasonable. Not particularly difficult to replace but can be a bit of a pain to get adjusted...

Oops sorry, but again thanks for your help.
