What type of piping do i need to use on a steam boiler

need to use?

Pipe
Just regular black pipe0 -
steam piping
Schedule 40 black pipe with cast iron steam or black malleable fittings0 -
More specifically
ASTM-A53 carbon steel pipe, Schedule 40 (Schedule 80 on returns if you can get it).
These numbers should be marked on the sides of the pipe. If the pipe is shiny with varnish it was probably made in China and has had mixed reviews (crumbling threads for one thing in certain sizes.) Buy American if you can find it. Better QC."If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"
