Might the F&T trap be leaking into the condensate pump vent pipe?

Venting Steam
My church has an steam heat system and I have noticed that when it is running there is a pipe with a lot of steam venting from it next to the boiler. Is this normal? I am concerned that the steam is going to rot the beams above it.0 -
Steam venting near the boiler
No sir; absolutly not. This is not normal. My first thought is a vent line off of a condensate tank or boiler feed system that is venting live steam into the space. It's not the only thing that would cause this but I'd start looking there. There was an error rendering this rich post.

steam venting
Your steam system should only be venting air which is displaced by steam in the pipes and radiators. If you can see "wet steam" coming from a joint or vent in a pipe or radiator you need to replace/tighten the vent, joint or pipe which the steam is coming from. The venting of air from a system is normal(through the radiator and line vents) and invisible.
Perhaps you should consult a pro.

I believe that the vent is from the condensate pump.0
