    Munchkin outdoor reset question

I've got a Munchkin 199 with what the manual says is the 925 controller. I was cycling through the status menu and saw that the D5 was NC. The manual states that D5 should be "Actual temperature from the outdoor sensor (vision only)". I know theres a sensor mounted outside.
    I'm trying to check if
    - Is the 925 considered a Vision controller?
    - If so, then my outdoor sensor is not hooked up or working?
    - where is the sensor supposed to be connected? I can do a visual check. The manual doesn't seem to show it.
Given to cold, I want to make sure Im getting the benefit of the sensor.

If I need a new sensor, I'll get my HVAC guy out to deal with it correctly. Other than that my system is cranking and keeping my house warm, for about $200/mo. was up to $1000 with a messed up electric system. (forced air with coils)

    did some homework

ok, so I read the vision 1 manual. Is there some way I can check if I have a 925 with a vision 1 or without?

    vision

Alan is correct- Although your 925 probably has Vision capability, if the near boiler piping was not designed around the Vision aspect, you will run into issues. Vision piping requires that the heating and DHW loops can operate independantly of each other. That would allow the HEATING side to operate off of an outdoor schedule without affecting the DHW side.
