I installed on a Buderus G115 with a Riello directvent. Let me just say I thought is having problems getting it started. I was like what a pos in a box. The biggest suprise was it was running the whole time. The owner come down after. Said how we doing I told him its running. He laughed at me said yeah rite. Then I put his hand on the header lol boy didn't he jump. Awsome

    Quietest Direct vent

After today, I am officially done with the Crown CT35 and power vent unit thats heating my house. $169 service call later and properly adjusted, it still sounds like a boeing 747 about to take off..........

My question is whats the QUIETEST oil fired direct vent hot water boiler available? Need something around 100000 BTU.

Any good or bad things to look for?

    Burnham MPODV

Look at the MPO147DV, it's fired at 1.05 GPH, just put one in and I wasn't sure it lit when I started it. They have the Beckett NX on them, real quiet. I'm sure most other direct vents are quiet also just by the nature of the beast. I've used a bunch of the standard MPO's and have been extremely happy with them.

    Ultra

I'd look at the Weil Mclain Ultra Oil. This is the least noisey oil boiler I've seen.

    Burnham LEDV

    Silent.

I have NEVER, say again, NEVER had one complaint nor issue with the LEDV. NOT A SINGLE ONE.

The MPO I have no experience with. Might be just as good if not better. The LEDV is a freakin' amazing piece of equipment as far as I am concerned.

    Burnham ROCKS!

Well from the replys it looks like any name brand DV boiler will be quiet....

What are the differences between the Burnham LEDV and the MPODV?

    Peerless?

A contractor in my area sells Peerless.

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with them? I am going to look at, and listen to a direct vent unit they installed in a house near here tonight.
