gas conv. blower direction??

Does a draft/pressure check tell you anything?

Also, if it is a forward-curve blower (many small blades more tightly spaced), the "cup" of the blade faces the direction of rotation. (Think if an aggressive swimming stroke with cupped hands.)

FC blowers are common in the smaller sizes so this is my first instinct.

Backward-inclined or airfoil blades, the opposite is true; the blade backs face the direction of rotation, sort of like inducing flow with a gentle back-slap :)

    blower ....clockwise, counterclockwise?????

    I had a gas tech wire up a new blower on a gas conversion, he was confused on the fan direction!!.....it's easy to change, just invert the plug. How do i find out what direction the fan need to be turning?????

    I used to love saying that. But too many tried it then got mad:-)

    Direction?

    Is this blower part of the burner gun or is this blower the indoor air/evaporator blower?
