On the inside directly above the white dial you should see DIFF with a vertical line. The 1 on the white dial should be set under that marking which equates to 6 o'clock.

Honeywell PA404A Settings
I have a new Weil-McLein SGO-4 boiler with Honeywell PA404A pressuretrol. I have the cut in on the front set at 0.5psi. The dial on the inside is a little confusing. Should I see #1 at 6:00 on the dial or should it be at 9:00?0 -
pressuretrol
DK - The pressuretrol comes in two types: subtractive differential, and additive differential; and many models dependig on the pressure range. You can download a pdf file from Honeywell's web site and type in PA404A in the box on the lower right under LITERATURE. Good luck
