Our New Home! (Burnham)
The move is still going on and will be for a bit so tours are on hold for now. I won't forget the day that Murph showed up in shorts and sandals for the Wallie Tour! Our plant safety administator so that one on the closed circuit TV's and I got an e-mail that night about it.

Our New Home!
For those of you that may not be aware of it, Burnham Hydronics has been in the process, for the past several months, of moving into new state of the art facilities. We have moved our manufacturing, Office and Distribution facilities about 2 miles west of Lancaster to Centerville, PA. Most of our manufacturing will be under one roof with lots more room to grow.
Adjacent to the Offices and manufacturing Plant is a very large Distribution Center. This has been a very large undertaking and we have done it across the period of several months so not to interrupt the ability of you to get what you need and on time. We have had our production people very involved in this move so as to make things work the way they see fit! Here is a photo of our New Home. What you see in the foreground is only part of the Manufacturing Facilities and Offices. Way off to the left side of the picture in the background is the Distribution Center where we are now able to warehouse hundreds and hundreds of boilers so you can get them in a prompt manner. These buildings are HUGE!. Not sure of the exact square footage but I can assure you that you could probably place numerous football fields inside with still room for more! This has been a huge committment to you and the industry so that we can all continue to grow together. Thanks for your support!

Any room for hands on training?0 -
Looks impressive
and it's a slightly shorter drive from Baltimore ;-) When can we get a tour?0 -
Plant Tours and Training
are currently on hold because the manufacturing equipment move is still in progress. We have been moving things a little bit at a time so as not to interrupt boiler production. Thanks!

These buildings are only a few years old and were owned by the people that make Legos. They grew out of them and moved into larger facilities. Heating system consists of Rooftop units and Unit Heaters. No wet heat.......yet!

\"No wet heat.......yet!\"
Glenn, you might already have this idea- this would be a perfect opportunity to build a working showcase of Burnham's gear. Kind of like the Levi brothers and their oil-fired hydronics showcase on Long Island that Dan wrote about a few years ago.
I can see an MPO feeding Baseray in one area, a Revolution II feeding radiant in another, and a V8 steamer in a third feeding some Classic radiators.
What'cha think?0 -
I think those are excellent ideas
but I can't picture them happening until we add on to these tremendously large buildings! We could call it the "WetHead Annex"!

Glenn, I just signed a contract for an IN8. Can I assume the new move will not affect delivery? My installer noted it was a 3-4 week wait. Thanks.0 -
I could have replaced my boiler for what we spent on Legos:}0 -
Congrats on the new place
Sign me up for the 1st tour , hopefully on my company's dime ........0 -
Re: Wait
Bob,
We don't have a waiting period as far as I am aware. We have been working in the new plant and old plant building boilers while this move is going on. We have a very good inventory in the Distribution Center and are loading truckloads up to 20 trucks at a time.It could be that your installer is just backed up with work right now just like everyone else is this time of year. Thanks for buying Burnham Bob.
