finding bad erratic steam traps

What's the latest thinking? Any reasonably priced ultrasonics you like? Success with the ultrasonics?
I have the melting pens & infrared - don't have the ultrasonic. Anyone use the AccuTrak VPE.

Typically, steam trap(s) will blow steam back to the condensate, then after boiler is shut down for an hour or two condensate tank stops blowing steam. Happens erratically.
