i recently moved into an apt with steam heat after selling my home with steam heat. thanks to this forum for helping me to resolve my past steam problums (no more water hammer and venting noise) my current system is regulated by the building (no thermostat) i would like to replace the existing vents (hoffman #43) with an adjustable hoffman vent model 1b part#401425. would this be compatible? thanks in advance for your advice tom
