    I'm confused?

    To size the equipment, you'd need to do a heat loss calculation, like the Manual J. Once you determine heat loss, pick the furnace you want whose output meets the need. Look at the specs for it that the mfr provides. It will tell you CFM needed to keep it off limit. Ducts should be sized accordingly.

    a ductulator is a

    slide rule tool used to size duct work. Most heating manufactures have them. Mine is an old one from Lima Register company.

    It takes a bit of schooling to know how, and why to use them, however :)
