radiator finishes

In a small cottage I cannot fit enough baseboard in the kitchen to even come close to the minimum. I got an idea to install cast Iron radiators. THese are new units and I'd like to know if anyone has ever powder coated cast iron radiators. Instead of painiting them I thought the powder caoting would give a better finish to hold up to the kitchen traffic.

Ask the powder coat guy what temp the stuff will handle I have had car mufflers ect that were powdered and did fine. If I remember powder cote is applied and baked at 400F It should do fine.

Check out panel radiators like what Buderus sells. They come power coated already and the "22" models throw out a lot of btus for there size....
