radiator finishes

In a small cottage I cannot fit enough baseboard in the kitchen to even come close to the minimum. I got an idea to install cast Iron radiators. THese are new units and I'd like to know if anyone has ever powder coated cast iron radiators. Instead of painiting them I thought the powder caoting would give a better finish to hold up to the kitchen traffic.

Ask the powder coat guy what temp the stuff will handle I have had car mufflers ect that were powdered and did fine. If I remember powder cote is applied and baked at 400F It should do fine.0 -
