I am ready to buy a boiler and am set on either a Buderus GB, Munchkin or Trinity. The system will be mostly panel rads and a bit of radiant. A little concerned about the GB's aluminum heat exchanger-although I really like it's heat transfer qualities!!!!! I'm confused!!!!! What do you guys suggest???

What does your installer say ?
What boiler does he use ? Is there a supplier near by ?
I like the GB.

Aluminum
The GB has been produced with that aluminum HX for 25 years or so, I wouldn't be scared of it.
Think of all the things made of cast aluminum. Car engines, both street and NASCAR, cooking pots and pans, aircraft parts, truck bodies, etc.
Water quality and it's treatment are the only real issue and usually easily remedied.0 -
Anyone else have preferences??????0 -
Boiler choices
I prefer the Weil Mclain Ultra, I know its not on your list but maybe it should be.0 -
The Ultra is nice, but a bit over my budget.....0 -
I thought the GB
was more expensive than the Ultra. If 110BTU's will do, take a look at the Triangle Tube Prestige.0
