    Weil-McLain ODR

    Several threads recently asking about a W-M outdoor reset. Option given were the Tekmar 265 and the W-M BCP-3, both a little on the pricey side according to some.

    Another option is Weil-McLain's WM-ODR, part no. 389-900-210
    cost 1/3 that of BCP-3, 1/6 that of the 265 (as priced through W-M).

    CGa reset

    Try the Tekmar 256 or Honeywell AQ475 reset control.

    I don't want to hijack this thread

    But I've notice little mention on The Wall of TACO's PC-700 as an alternative to Tekmar.

    The WM-ODR does not limit the low temperature of the reset and the installation manual warns about sustained operation below 140*. If your plumbing is not set up to accomodate this, look for something that limits lowest reset temp.

    265 --> 260

    Hello Tim.

    The 265 is a modulating boiler staging control, not used for the CG Series Boiler. However, it could be used on an Ultra Boiler from Weil McLain.

    The 260 Boiler Control would be best suited, as mentioned by Bob.

    If you have further questions, pelase contact tekmar at any time at 250-545-7749, Ext. 214.

    Regards,

    Mike

    That's good info

    on the Tekmar. This a new line for us and I'm still waiting on my catalog. Ihad seen the 265 suggested on one threaed or another. The Ultra, BTW, needs no third party hardware for ODR, it is factory standard feature. I had quized Weil-McLain directly about ODR on the CGa and they suggested the WM-ODR.
