small temp probe in temp well
i have a small temp probe for a temperature well in a storage tank. the diameter of the temp probe is much smaller than the diameter of the temperature well (3/4" male fitting) and was looking for a way to ensure good contact between the probe and well. i thought of mineral oil but don't know if that would eventually eat away the wires coming into the probe. any ideas? thanx in advance0 -
Small probe in large well
Honeywell makes a conductive paste for that very purpose. It is messy, so wear your latex gloves while inserting the paste! You can find it at most supply houses that carry HVAC supplies.0 -
