    Solar Heating

I am interested in finding out the procedures in becoming a solar heating installer. With the energy rates expected to rise I would like to stay ahead of the times. I was wondering if there is any training seminars? If there is a special license to install solar heat? And a good solar supplier in the NY area? Is there alot of discussion of contractors thinking of the same concept. I beleive this is going to be our energy source for the future. With the cost of living on the rise people are going to look for ways to save money. Look forward to response !!!

    Take a class

to get up to speed on solar. If you are a plumber it will be an easy marriage IF you learn some of the basics.

I believe there is a class in DC real soon. Solar Today mag www.solartoday.org always has a listing of classes available across the country.

Also get a copy of Tom Lanes "bible" of solar. Lessons Learned from 1977 to Today it will save you a lot of trial and error.

and check with the folks in Rhode Island. Viessmann puts on solar courses as well, the Canadian office in Waterloo might be worth a call too - talk to Rob Waters there.
