Help with Sizing
I posted yesterday regarding sizing a boiler for my church. I have two contractors telling me different sizes. Is there anyone out there who can come in provide a qualified independent calculation? We are the typical poor church but I'd pay for the peace of mind.
Also, if anyone would like to comment on one calculation: one plumber calculated 1595 sqft of radiation, multiplied by 250 (instead of the 240 I have seen elsewhere) and suggested boiler with input/output BTU of 650,000-526,000. Does that sound right?
In the church, there are high ceilings (two floors in height). Does that affect things?
