boiler on top of a water tank

I know I have seen this in a trade magazine or in a dream or somthing. there is a company that makes a domestic storage tank that is mached to a boiler that sits on top of it. I have a five pound closet that needs ten pounds of equipment so somthing like this really would work well. Anyone?

Energy Kinetics System 2000 has a stackable unit thats is designed for a closet.

Buderus also makes a stackable boiler/water tank, but I would go with the system 2k for a closet application

I dont think a horizontal tank saves a lot of room over a boiler sitting next to a vertical tank unless the boiler is fairly large. If I had a Vitola, I would definitely use one.

I stand corrected. I was basing my opinion on Crown and Viessmann. You could not have fit that into that space with vertical tanks.

Come to think of it, AWI's take up some space too, so let me retract my statement. ;-)

I still dont think an ECD with a Verticell is much more space than with a Horicell. But then the ECD is a more vertical boiler than most.
