we had a company around here that ran miles of that tubing. I am actually going to look at one of their systems tomorrow. I too was about to post a similar query. Hopefully we shall get an answer!

Hi
I have found the following markings on some rubber tubing:
Sunspot radiant heat / snowmelt tube, 3/8", 180'F, 200psi, WP ASTM D380 D471, Made in USA, MO8119 B200
Can anyone tell me who the manufacturer is (or was)?
Thanks0 -
That's a new one on me and can't find anything on it. Most likely an aftermarket product built by a major company for someone else's use. What color is it?0 -
Red.
Was installed about 6 years ago?0 -

Am trying to find out the following:
1. Is there an oxygen-diffusion barrier?
2. What type of rust inhibitor can you use with this tubing?
Where are you based? We are in BC, Canada. Just wondering if we could get some idea of the geographic distribution of this product.
Please let me know if you find out anything!

I ran in to something that looked like what you are describing, it ended up be a re-labled (branded) product from wirsbro, onix replaced it when it came out. it looked like the type of air hoses used by finish carpenters, soft and red.0 -
Thanks for your reply. After a little research I have found out:
1. Wirsbo is now called Uponor
2. ONIX is manufactured by Watts Radiant
I will e-mail both companies to see if they can help. Any additional input would be much appreciated!

There was a brief period of time
when all the Heatway Entran/ Goodyear battles were raging.. Goodyear had some tube with a weird name in the Denver RPA show as I recall. I'm not sure if any got to market or installed. I thought it was yellow in color? Been a few years.
