Actually I may have found the source. It's in pages 170-209 of the National Aero heating guide. They are almost exact except the measurements don't quite make sense as the ones I have are of the shortest sections available, maybe 7b. I will try to get pics soon.(batteries are out of steam for the digi cam)

I recently took down an eight foot steam one pipe radiator from a ceiling in a garage with no demarcation as to the make. I know the library has some wall radiators in the there but I also remember once seeing a ceiling radiator, maybe American or us capitol, I'm not sure. Did anyone notice somewhere in the library that had one of these pictured. I can't get a picture but it could have been a wall radiator used as a ceiling rad. It kept the kitchen floor warm which is right above an over-sized one-car garage. Pretty cool as they used steel hooks with steel pipe to get it up there and at 9 feet high you can imagine how difficult it was to get down! Good thing no one got hurt. I found wall radiators that don't match in the 1897 American guide as well as something similiar in the Gurney catalog.0
