noisy steam trap

I have a 100 year old building with a good operating steam heating system. everything rebuilt-repaired in the last 6 years. All the steam radiators have new Dunham-Bush 1E/SS traps and Taco radiator valves with remote sensor. A few of my radiators traps make a rata-tat-tat noise intermittently. Is the bellows going bad or is something else going on? Thankyou very much in advance for any thoughts. Dan
