I reacently installed a new Burnham steam boiler (IN4)w/a 24volt gas valve w/standing pilot and a vent damper.I installed a baseboard loop for my basemet, my question is what type of relay and aquastat should i use to have this hot water loop act independantly from the the steam side? would a aquastat/relay combo work better than 2 seperate controls? i am also installing a 24volt t-stat.thanks

To what did you attach the HWBB loop?
The steam piping, or the D/H/W coil?
If the latter, no problem. If the former, you may be entering the twilight zone...0 -
I connected the supply side of the pump to the lowest tapping of the boiler,no D/H/W coil on this boiler, and the the return of the loop to the opposite low tapping of the boiler0
