Conventional hot water heater opinion

What are folks opinions of the Bradford White "Defender" series 50 gal conventional HWH. Is there another make or model that might be a better choice. Are there any brands to avoid? BTW, this is NOT to be installed by a big box store, but by one of our local plumbers/heating/contractors. I'd looking to validate the recommendation with a second opinion.

    Good Unit

    Bradford White has some features the other tank heater makeres don't I prefer BW over AO Smith and State
