gas water boiler
I have a gas water boiler with standing pilot that is given me a problem. It was installed in a new home in August of 2005. The problem is, every 5 to 6 months the boiler does not fire, the pilot stays lit just no full fire. But if you tap gently on the boiler jacket it fires. All the parts except the gas have been changed, even the wire harness. It has taco 571 zone valves with a zvc control unit. It has a l8148e main control, honeywell vr8300c gas valve, effikal auto vent damper, and the proper flame roll out switch and flue spillage switch. Please help
thanks

EXECPT THE GAS VALVE, SORRY0 -
Changing parts gets costly after awhile. Find a pro who can diagnose the problem. With that said if the system is working fine when he gets there he may not be able to resolve it or he may see something that you don't. It could be a failing valve, poor, loose connections etc. Check out find a pro above or get a recomendation from a neighbor.0
