Of course there...

is a 26-99 on there...how else are you going to cram 175K through a 3/4" pipe! kpc
ps how does that vent? What is aon the other side of the wall? Isn't there supposed to be a draft hood there?

It's also in a closet attached to the garage, at floor level. "We don't park in there anyway."

Kevin, that's 5" 26 gauge at the point of egress. 5" B-vent starts about a foot out the wall. Might explain why all the plastic ignition parts and the wiring insulation was "droopy".

Oh, and they said their gas bills are high

WNY. This place used to belong to the local hardware owner and his counter jockey did this. Neither one knew hardware either. I heard them advise a customer to use petroleum grease to lube o-rings once. Maybe they could work for Viega

Kicker is he sold the house to a relative..... gonna be an interesting reunion I'll bet.
