cleaning boiler
Hi Rick,
What is your cleaning technique? Skimming or chemical? You may be doing something wrong there, or the system may be really dirty. Some systems take a lot of effort to clean up. Have you tried the old trick of boiling the water on the stove?
Have you checked the other causes of rapid boiler water exit? If it has a pumped return, the water could be backing out past a faulty check valve. If it is a power burner, is the firing rate and flame pattern correct? It sounds like your near boiler piping is according to manufacturer's instructions, but if the size is too small or the header not high enough, you could have similar problems.
Best regards, Pat0
