flame inside burner
i am working on an enerco technical products vent free radiant heater. milivolt system. after the call for heat opens the gas control, a nice blue flame sweeps over the ceramic burners' face and all is well. for about 3 to 5 minutes then poof, the flame backs up and is inside the burner. i blew out the ceramic burners and made sure all the little holes were clear and checked gas pressure. when this happens on a conventional furnace i slow down the fuel mixture or replace the worn out ribbon burners. not sure what to do here.0 -
first problem
Vent free? Do you know how dangerous an appliance like that is?
That being said, is this natural or propane gas? You may need to check the gas pressure.0
